Abstract
Introduction. An overview of the main reports read at the round table “The subject of labor law in the post-industrial information society and the doctrine of labor relations” held on February 17, 2022 at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences is presented. Purpose. The author's purpose is to indicate the main directions of transformation of the subject of labor law and fundamental scientific research in this area in order to create a comfortable legal environment for the global technological leadership of the Russian Federation in the post-industrial information society; adapt the theory of the plurality of labor relations by V.N. Skobelkin to new forms of labor organization in the context of expanding the scope of labor law and deepening the differentiation of its norms, and outline the main directions for improving the legislation on employment.
