Abstract

The features of reproductive function in purebred and crossbred repair pigs are presented. The main attention is paid to the functional state of the ovaries in conjunction with the clinical manifestations of signs of sexual hunting, ovarian dysfunctions and other pathologies of the reproductive organs. The influence and presence of breed characteristics and their combinations on the clinical manifestation of signs of sexual hunting has been determined. The presented comparative analysis materials showed the superiority of crossbred repair pigs in terms of puberty, the formation of sexual cyclicity and endocrine disorders in comparison with purebred pigs.
