Abstract
The article deals with the problems of judicial diagnosis in the investigation of crimes against property, identifies the issues of expert diagnosis as one of the research methods that characterize the object of expert research, which determines the conditions and features of the processes of its change. The article defines the importance of the use of diagnostic methods during pho- noscopic examinations in the investigation of theft, which are structured not only cause-and-effect relationships, but also establishes the mechanisms of formation of various changes in the objects submitted to the study.

Summary
В статье рассматриваются проблемы судебной диагностики при квалификации и расследовании преступлений против собственности, обозначаются вопросы экспертной диагностики как одного из исследовательских методов, характеризующих объект экспертного исследования, определяющих условия и особенности процессов его изменения. Особое значение диагностические экспертизы имеют при расследовании преступлений против собственности, совершаемых с использованием средств сотовой связи.
