Abstract

Due to the long period of time drinking tea, it has now further continuously developed into tea ceremony or even a culture, and also accomplished a development of tools used in tea ceremonies. It's also enabled the diffusion of the tea culture throughout the world. There are people who enjoy drinking tea just because they like it, where whereas there are those who become more and more addicted to tea because of The elegance and splendidness of the tea equipage. In this way the equipage are considered to be special to those who like tea. In this paper, I would like to explore distinctive types of tea equipage, such as the 'Tea Bowl', which is used for drinking ceremonial dust tea, especially concentrating on Eo-bon Tea bowl, which was ordered by the Japanese and manufactured by the people of Cho-Seon after the Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592.
