Abstract

Introduction. The article considers the factors affecting the recovery time of physical performance of gas and smoke protectors when extinguishing large and protracted fires. An experimental model of physical restoration of the operability of gas and smoke protectors during repeated work cycles has been developed. The significance of all the studied factors affecting the recovery time of physical performance of gas and smoke protectors is determined, Goals and objectives of the study. Determination of factors affecting the physical restoration of the operability of gas and smoke protectors in protracted fires. Research methods. The research uses methods of system analysis, probability theory, mathematical statistics, testing and experiment. The empirical data obtained were interpreted and processed using qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis, including descriptive statistics, Student's criterion, Pearson's criterion 2, Fisher's criterion of statistical agreement. Regression analysis methods were used to build the model. Calculations were made on the basis of the Excel statistical software package. Results and their discussion. In the course of the study, the most significant factors affecting the recovery time of physical performance of gas and smoke protectors were identified. A linear two-factor model of the interaction of factors of physical recovery of gas and smoke protectors is obtained. Conclusion. Based on the values of the coefficients for the factors established in the experiment that affect the physical recovery of gas-smoke protectors under load, it can be concluded that the dominant value in assessing the time of work and rest between different stages of the working processes of gas-smoke protectors belongs to their level of performance: the higher the level of physical performance of a person, the less time it takes for him to restore physical condition. At the same time, on the basis of the proposed model, another significant factor on which the time of physical recovery of the gas-smoke protector depends is the sequence of stages of the work carried out: initial, repeated and final. So after the initial stage of work, the recovery time of physical condition will be less than during the repeated and final stages of the work of gas and smoke protectors. Keywords: gas and smoke protection, working capacity, recovery time, physical activity, repetition of work.
