Abstract

The article examines the process of professional training of cadets studying in departmental educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus specializing in operational investigative activities. The key definitions of vocational training are presented from various points of view. The primary requirements for the professional training of future employees of operational units are disclosed. The main tasks of professional training are formulated, the implementation of which in the educational process will contribute to its effectiveness in the process of obtaining education by students. The author's definition of professional training and the main type of professional preparedness is given – service training with its fundamental components: special, tactical, fire, physical, drill, personal and professional safety of employees.
