Abstract
A set of legal tasks is proposed, it is based on the problematic situations that occur in the professional activities of teachers, which are aimed at eliminating the problem of non-compliance of demands from society for the level of legal competency formation of teachers with modern models of legal education. The tasks are classified by functional orientation, levels of complexity, subject content, and methods of solution. The article describes the developed set of practice-oriented legal tasks, the main purpose of which is the formation and development of the legal competency of future teachers.
