Abstract

<p style="text-align: justify;">A study of organizational and legal foundations of the management of professional psychological selection in the National Guard has been carried out, which is a very relevant task. The significance of the problem of cognition of its objective characteristics is determined by the specifics of the professional activity of servicemen and the social significance of their tasks. The management of this selection has its own organizational and legal foundations, which requires their scientific conceptualization and a disclosure of their characteristics, since such attempts have not yet been made in scientific literature. The authors used the theoretical provisions of an integrated approach towards the study of a person, methods of comparative legal research, as well as various analytical, regulatory, legal, organizational and managerial materials. The authors identified and substantiated a multi-level system for managing professional psychological selection in the troops of the National Guard of Russia, its regulatory and organizational basis. Revealing the features of managerial activities for the implementation of professional psychological selection measures, its organizational structure and main characteristics are analyzed in detail.</p>
