Abstract

Scientific publication has come a long way of development: from treatises and correspondence of scientists to articles in the up-to-date peer-reviewed journals. And today the acceptance or not acceptance of the work by the scientific community largely depends on the edition in which the article is published. Publication in a reputable international scientific journal has certainly more chances of success and circulation in the professional environment. In recent years, the policy of active integration of Russian scientific journals in the world of science as the required measure for further development. Scientific journals and authors of publications are changing their views in accordance with new the international requirements, the structure of articles, their design and promotion tools are changing. Scientists around the world are interested in successful scientific communication through the well-known reputable journals that meet all international requirements and have high scientometric indicators. The article review provides the analysis of trends in the development of the scientific publications and journals, the process of integration of Russian scientific knowledge into the international information space. On the example of the scientific and production journal «Occupational Safety in Industry» the changes are shown in the journals seeking to reach the international level. Large-scale work is being carried out to increase the international prestige of Russian scientific articles and journals for successful entry into the global scientific space.
