Abstract

The aim of the study was to objectify speech and voice disorders in persons with Parkinson’s disease depending on gender, age, form of the disease and degree of speech disorders severity. The article experimentally confirmed the objective indices of acoustic parameters of speech influencing rehabilitation potential of persons with Parkinson’s disease. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that for the first time a pedagogical model for diagnosing hypokinetic dysarthria in patients of the Russian population depending on the stage of the disease, available in outpatient and inpatient settings, was presented. As a result, it has been proved that the speech deficit testifies to the complex organization of the pathological process in which not only acoustic characteristics of the voice, but also the energy base of speech in neurodegeneration inevitably suffer.
