Abstract
In this scientific review pursuing the objective of providing substantiation for the importance of continuity in implementing the principles of treating the most significant psychopathological syndromes, which determine the aggressive offending behavior of patients, we submit the historical aspect of reviewing the works of Russian scientists-psychiatrists devoted to searching for and applying the psychopharmacological interventions, developing the psychopharmacotherapeutic techniques, which aim to correct the main psychopathological manifestations in individuals, suffering from severe mental disorders, in order to prevent their social dangerousness.
