Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the power loss of the hydraulic torque converter from hydraulic resistance that occurs in the vehicle drive when the temperature of the working fluid changes, based on the results of testing special oils for automatic transmissions from Mobil ATF Multi-Vehicle and ATF TCL WS. The data obtained make it possible to determine the optimal distance between the impeller blades, as well as to use it in modeling workflows in hydraulic torque converter.
