Abstract

The article is devoted to the milestones of the little-studied political biography and private life of the Leningrad leader of the Stalinist era, TaisiyaVladimirovnaZakrzhevskaya (1908–1986). Interest in this person is due primarily to the fact that she became the only woman convicted in Leningrad as a member of the main group of defendants in the “Leningrad case” on October 1, 1950. Prosopographic, concrete historical, problem-chronological and biographical methods, as well as the method of historical reconstruction became the main scientific tools of the study. The study is based on archival materials, sources of personal origin, office documents of the Party Control Committee under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks.
