Abstract
The article considers the main stages of creation and development of the de-partment of choreographic art of East Siberian state institute of culture. The article is based on the report made at the round table «Modern choreographic education: vectors of development» held within the upgrading courses «Meth-ods of teaching choreographic disciplines: practical experience and modern approaches» conducted on the basis of the department of choreographic art on 23-25 November 2022.
