Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the impact of modern technology on the Arabic language in contemporary Arabic novels from a semiotic perspective. The importance of this research lies in the fact that it is one of the first studies conducted on the impact of modern technology on the Arabic language in contemporary Arabic novels from a semiotic perspective. The research used the descriptive and semiotic approach in analyzing contemporary Arabic novel texts. The results showed that modern technology has greatly influenced the Arabic language in contemporary Arabic literature, and these effects included: the emergence of new terms and changes in the patterns of use of the Arabic language. The researcher recommended several recommendations, the most important of which were: -Conducting more detailed studies on the impact of modern technology on the Arabic language - Investing in technological advances and using artificial intelligence in scientific research to improve and develop Arabic language studies.
