Abstract

This study explores the relationship between MBTI personality types and multiple intelligences among first-year early childhood education students to inform customized teacher training. Data from 74 students who completed both the MBTI and multiple intelligences tests were analyzed using chi-square tests. Results showed extroverts (E) identified interpersonal intelligence as their strength, while introverts (I) also highlighted intrapersonal intelligence (χ² = 14.704, p = .012). Thinking types (T) showed strength in intrapersonal intelligence, and Feeling types (F) in interpersonal intelligence (χ² = 22.186, p = .000). Regarding weaknesses, Thinking types (T) reported naturalist intelligence, and Feeling types (F) noted logical-mathematical intelligence (χ² = 15.841, p = .027). The study recommends tailored training: extroverted teachers focusing on collaboration, introverted teachers on individualized guidance, and Feeling types on stress management. Experiential learning is advised to strengthen naturalist and bodily-kinesthetic intelligences, improving overall teacher effectiveness.
