ФОРМУВАННЯ ФАХОВИХ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТЕЙ МАЙБУТНЬОГО ЛІКАРЯ ШЛЯХОМ ІНТЕГРАЦІЇ ПРИРОДНИЧОНАУКОВИХ І ПРОФЕСІЙНО-ПРАКТИЧНИХ ДИСЦИПЛІН

Abstract

The qualification of a modern doctor is determined by two parameters: the level of qualification, which determines the scope and complexity of tasks and responsibilities, and qualification specialization, which is determined by the branch of necessary medical knowledge. In the preparation of the medical student, the integral competence, general and professional competencies, the formation of which develops during the study at the university while studying natural and clinical disciplines, are separated.Competence determines the ability of a doctor to successfully carry out the professional and further educational activities and is the result of studying at a certain level of higher education. Competency approach, reflecting the system of professional knowledge, skills, the personality-behavioral qualities, united by humane attitudes towards the patient, requires modern pedagogical strategies in teaching disciplines.The main parameters of modern medical education are the interdisciplinary approach, the innovative structure of the content and methods of teaching, the formation of professional thinking in students, the ability of complex approach in solving the problems with treatment and diagnosis, the ability to create and defend the own way of solving the tasks, the ability to cooperate with people. These competencies may be formed in a future doctor providing the implementation of an integrated system of natural sciences and professional-practical training.To understand the pathogenesis of diseases, the doctor needs the profound knowledge of fundamental natural science disciplines. They form a scientific picture of the specialist’s world and outlook. The integrated learning system will develop clinical thinking, will allow the doctor to combine the data from different branches of medicine about the patient’s health problems, to diagnose correctly and choose the best treatment tactics.
