Abstract

The article deals with the problem of the educational process organization, which contributes to the development of environmentally-oriented professional competence of students studying for the training program 20.03.01 “Technosphere safety”. The paper discusses technosphere safety for the academic bachelor’s degree program provided by the Federal State Educational Standard 3++ in 2020. The research data show the details of the educational process organization during the professional training of a future environmental engineer as well as the components that are included in the concept of professionalism. The notion under consideration is defined in terms of ecological functional literacy, formed as a result of mastering the educational program that ensures up-to-date social and labor market demands. The research work presented in the article was carried out in terms of curriculum. Students consistently performed certain tasks during practical training, classroom studies and independent extracurricular classes, as well as during project activities, which together produce pedagogical conditions to provide gradual purposeful development of general and professional competencies in students. Such competences are necessary for the students of environmental engineering higher school, as an indicator of their occupational aptitude.
