Abstract

The aim of the study is to substantiate the need to comply with a set of pedagogical conditions for realizing the potential of public organizations in the social education of adolescents at risk. At the practical level, the paper presents a model for the organization of interaction between the subjects of the educational process (adult – child) the purpose of which is the development of societal norms by adolescents in the conditions of the activities of regional public organizations. The content component of the mentors’ educational activities in working with adolescents who have been placed under preventive supervision of juveniles is described. The scientific novelty of the study lies in identifying the pedagogical conditions that ensure the implementation of adolescents’ social education in the activities of a public organization. As a result, it has been proved that the specially organized, targeted activities of members of public organizations can act as a factor contributing to the social education of adolescents.
