Abstract

The article discusses options for presenting the glorification of labor (public and private practices) in the system of the Soviet holiday calendar. Holidays of the labor exploits of workers made it possible, in a visible and accessible form, as vividly as possible, to combine information and propaganda material with its emotional and figurative presentation, based on the political experience of the people, the atmosphere of the need for action. It is concluded that the Soviet government used the glorification of labor as a way to regulate the social behavior of the population and form a new behavioral model. During various festive events, the country’s leadership introduced new values and ideals into the consciousness of Soviet citizens
