Abstract

The aim of the study is to assess the level of entrepreneurship development in the Arctic regions of Russia and the investment component that has a direct impact on the business environment of the region. The study was carried out in three areas: analysis of the investment picture in the Arctic regions; study of entrepreneurship development and the main factors influencing it; the level of participation of small and medium-sized businesses in the regional investment activity and financial support from government authorities. It is necessary to make changes to the legal documents of the Russian Federation, aimed specifically at further strengthening support for entrepreneurship in the Russian Arctic regions.
