Abstract

The article examines the short but intense period of advocacy of the outstanding opera singer L.V. Sobinov. The author explores the reasons for his joining the Russian corporation of sworn attorneys, relationships with colleagues, as well as Sobinov’s first steps in the legal profession. The author analyzes the features of the preparation by a young lawyer of his defense speeches and the process of mastering the basics of judicial eloquence.
