Abstract
The article describes the features of the organization of the Kaliningrad – St. Petersburg ferry crossing on the basis of a new type of ultra-high–speed vessels – ekranoplans. The results of the study of the climatic wave spectra of the Baltic Sea are carried out. The results of an economic study with a detailed justification of profitability, competitiveness and factors affecting the payback of a new ferry crossing are presented.
