Abstract: The Effect of Climate on Green Fodder Crops in Egypt A Study on Applied Climate Abstract This article deals with the effect of climate on green fodder crops in Egypt, especially on growing and production of green fodder crops, the ideal areas of growing these crops in Egypt, the most important points which the study includes are: The introduction: in which the writers seeks to define the topic, its importance, its aim, and the important reasons of choosing this topic. The writes also tries to present a review of literature, survey the progress of the study, the methodology, and ways of used. The first point deals with the most important climate elements which effect the growing of green fodder crops, in which the seasonal and monthly distribution of climate elements which most effect directly on the green fodder crops according to Oliver division: the solar radiation, temperature, relative humidity, and the extent the effect of these elements on the green fodder crops. The second point deals with an applied study of the effect of climate on green fodder crops, clover is chosen as a winter crop, studying the most appropriate time of growing, the most appropriate soil, geographical distribution of the cultivated areas, the fit climate, in addition to studying the relationship between the climate elements, and average of production of each acre through statistical analysis. Finally, the area of study is divided to regions according to the appropriateness of climate, SPSS program is used to process the statistics. The third point: deals with the study of the effect of climate on the crop of durra (corn) as a summer crop, the same above mentioned points will be taken into consideration. The study concludes with mentioning the most important results, the importance of these results on articulating some of the recommendations which can be taken into consideration in seeking to increase the productivity of the main green fodder crops in Egypt.
