Abstract

The article examines the issues of military everyday life of scientists from Leningrad University who were evacuated to Yelabuga during the Great Patriotic War. The scientists of Elabuga branch of Leningrad State University in the period from 1941 to 1944 conducted research on topics of current defense importance. The specific features of the rear everyday life of scientists were the complicated working and living conditions: the research was carried out in the circumstances of lack of resources and equipment and the increase of labor intensity.
