Abstract

The article is devoted to studying juridical terminology on migration in the period of the European migrant crisis of 2015-2019. The research objective includes identifying the most frequent techniques to translate juridical terminology by the material of the official European Commission documents. The comparative analysis of the original and translated texts allows concluding that high level of translation equivalence leads to ambiguous interpretation and the most frequent translation techniques include adaptive translation, lexico-grammatical transformations, alternative translation and omission.
