Abstract

The article examines the role of small companies in stimulating the economic development of regions and their relationship with the levels of development of the market economy. The impact of foreign economic sanctions and the pandemic on the small business sector in Russia is being investigated. It describes the new challenges and trials faced by Russian small businesses after recovering from quarantine measures and the introduction of foreign economic sanctions.
