Abstract
In the post-Soviet period of General crisis phenomena in the economy occurred and the decline in the prestige of professions in engineering and technical profile, and, as a consequence, the decline of motivation to study exact Sciences, including the discipline «drawing». Today, however, the developing industry poses new challenges for the training of skilled workers, able to work in high-tech industries, as well as on early a reasoned career choice. Based on many years of practical experience, the authors suggest conducting Olympiads like the form of the revitalization of the secondary school in question learning the basics of technical drawing.
