Abstract

Rehabilitation and habilitation of people with disabilities at working age are complementary measures that allow them to fully or partially restore their lost biopsychosocial functions of the body for subsequent participation in the life of society, including employment. In recent years, when compiling rehabilitation programs, there has been a transition to the methodology of the International Classification of Functioning, Disabilities and Health (ICF), which was developed by WHO in order to unify and standardize the language and define the framework for describing health indicators and establishing a rehabilitation diagnosis. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the need for a comprehensive assessment of individual physiological and psychosocial capabilities using the ICF methodology in the formation of rehabilitation measures for people with disabilities of working age, and the success of their implementation, including employment. In the course of the study, methods of testing, analysis, systematization and structuring the results of the practical application of the ICF methodology were used in order to determine its capabilities as a tool for assessing the state of the physiological capital of a person of working age with a disability, as well as to assess the degree of influence of the recommended measures on the process of bio-psycho-psychological social rehabilitation of the disabled. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: the practical application of the ICF methodology (on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution "NPRC") in the preparation and implementation of rehabilitation measures to replenish the primary physiological abilities of a disabled person for work, in general, gave a positive result. However, for the purpose of its full-fledged labor rehabilitation, closer interdepartmental interaction between specialists in healthcare, education, social security, and employment is needed, for which it is necessary to create an information system with the connection of the Sociomedical Assessment Bureau to it.
