Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the role of the Marx Museum of Local Lore and its collections in the formation of historical memory. The characteristics of some items of German collections bearing the stamp ethnic specificity and being a reflection of historical memory. The conclusion is made about the need for an integrated approach to the problem of historical memory as a form of museum reflection.
