Abstract

Corn (Zea mays L.) has gained wide popularity in the Russian regions and is widely cultivated in our country. The soil and climatic conditions of the Lower Volga region are quite favorable for the cultivation of corn, which makes it possible to expand the acreage to fulfill the tasks of the Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation, the creation of productive and disease-resistant corn hybrids. The article presents the results of the creation and production of corn hybrids using various cultivation technologies, including the use of fertilizers.
