Abstract
This article considers methods of rendering formally selected fragments of a poetic text in translation; the research is based on the material of 16 French translations of A. S. Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin. The isomorphism of formally selected fragments depends on the poetic form as a whole chosen by the translator.

Михайлов под влиянием переводческих традиций и личных предпочтений нарушает изоморфизм с оригиналом на различных уровнях. Его работа может рассматриваться как пример «этноцентрического» перевода (traduction ethnocentrique по Берману): «Однако нарушения изоморфизма на всех уровнях могут носить и избыточный, не вызванный языковой необходимостью характер. Различия в пунктуации параллельных текстов могут быть неоправданно значительными, как и стирание различий в употреблении синонимов и др. В остальных переводах предпочтение отдано восьмисложнику со спорадической рифмой, деление на строфы совпадает с оригиналом.
