Abstract
This publication provides information on research aimed at studying homeostasis in certain infectious and invasive diseases of cattle accompanied by an acidotic state in the body (for example, nodular dermatitis, pyroplasmidosis, etc.). The dynamics of changes in metabolic processes in cattle are shown based on a shift in homeostasis indicators towards acidosis, analysis and evaluation of the process of restoring acid-base balance in the body, its importance, in which all macro- and microscopic parameters of the body and the body's ability to maintain internal stability at a constant level (self-regulation) remain unchanged. With the tendency to create an integrated system for the treatment of sick animals using progressive means and methods, the fruitfulness of using an intravenous 5% sodium bicarbonate solution is demonstrated, which helps restore and maintain blood pH in the body (homeostasis), which helps ensure the functioning of all organs and systems of the body within the limits of physiologically normal values. It is reflected that the noted nosological units, among other pathological changes, are accompanied by a state of hypoxemia, a significant shift in the acid-base balance towards acidosis, an increase in the activity of the CK enzyme, which has a strong pathogenic effect on the body of affected animals, leads to a violation of homeostasis and the body's ability to self-regulate, a decrease in body stability, immunity, and processes in general. metabolism. In accordance with the above, the main vector of the indicated trend is the restoration and preservation of the balance of acid and alkali in the body (homeostasis), which, as one of the key links in pathogenesis, as a result of compensating or decompensating effects on internal and external influences, leads to the preservation of internal stability at a certain level (self-regulation).
