Abstract

The study aimed to recognize the extent of adoption of Yemeni banks on fundamental analysis when making financial securities investment decision. To achieve the aim of study, the questionnaire used as a tool and it was distributed to ten Yemeni banks. 84 questionnaires were distributed, and 69 questionnaires were analyzed out of 72 questionnaires, that is (82.14%) of the total of distributed questionnaires. The data of the study were analyzed by using SPSS program. The results of the study showed that Yemeni banks use fundamental analysis at a high rate when making investment decisions in securities. Furthermore, the study indicated that there was a high degree of importance in fundamental analysis among investment decision-makers, as well as the presence of a high degree of understanding, awareness, trust and reliance on fundamental analysis when making investment decisions in securities. The study recommended the necessity of enhancing the importance of fundamental analysis when making investment decisions in securities because it has a role in reducing the risks of financial investment.
