Abstract

This research studies the different fields of child's care as they appear in the study of the biography of the Prophet (p.b.u.h). This includes the spiritual, psychological, scientific, social, and physical fields. The research shows that such a care was mainly built on mercy which suits the weakness of children. This is very clear in his comprehensive biography. The researcher found that child's care was one of the prophet's concerns. The role of the mosque environment appears clearly in such context. Oneness of God was the first thing to be taught to children, and then come the essentials of faith. Social uprising and care were of the issues on which the prophet (p.b.u.h) focused, this starts from the early days of the child's life. The bibliography of the prophet (p.b.u.h) shows that he also dealt with the psychological aspects of the child's life in a comprehensive and integrated way. The prophet (p.b.u.h) pays great attention in his teaching to the physical aspect of child's life; he gave them priority in taking food as this is very important for their minds and bodies. The research shows that the prophetic guidance leads to a physiological balance in children's personality. This will save them from any kind of disorder or deviant behavior. It is an approach that gives them protection of any present or future disorder.
