Abstract

The article examines the optimal parameters of the natural and climatic potential that determine the conditions of agricultural land use in the North Caucasus Economic Region in order to achieve the goals set for the future. The practical side of effective and intensive turnover of agricultural land and ways to improve them in real use have been worked out. Depending on the ratio of indicators, optimal parameters of the natural and climatic potential for the involvement and expedient exploitation of land are built. Inefficient lands and methods of their use due to the use of highly effective agrotechnical innovations are considered. The analysis of the investment climate, key risks and adaptation to modern conditions is carried out. The key positions constraining the elimination of a number of problems are formulated. This is due to the risk of slowing down investment attractiveness and competitive advantage, taking into account the global economic context.
