Abstract

The article discusses discursive modifications of a scientific text that arise when it is transformed into an educational text. The main subject of the study is the dictum-mode plan of interaction between two types of discourse and the relationship of dictum and mode in this regard. The main theoretical idea of the article is to identify and describe the dependence of the dictum-mode structure of the educational text on communicative strategies and tactics. Against this background, the determining role of the mode in the transformation of a scientific text into an educational one is substantiated: the mode is included in the author’s target settings, transforming a scientific text into an educational one, and, as a result, determines the content, composition and stylistic characteristics of the educational text.
