Abstract
The system of administrative penalties has a complex structure; their appointment and execution is fraught with certain difficulties. The article is devoted to a comparative legal analysis of compulsory labor as one of the administrative and criminal penalties. As a result of the research, the author proposed measures aimed at improving the application of compulsory work.
