Abstract
The article presents a theoretical substantiation of the activities of the services of psychological support of the educational process in the system of higher education in general, as well as in the system of transport education in particular. The creation of psychologi-cal services in Russian universities is being updated in the context of the modern state agenda. The practical experience of the Psy-chological Center of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "FESTU" is considered: integration into the management system and organizational structure of the university, the content of psychological support for participants in the educational process, the content and main areas of activity in working with students (diagnostics, counseling, correctional, work, education, prevention, crisis direction). The issues of interdepartmental interaction are covered on the example of work with healthcare organizations, transport, public organizations, etc.
