Abstract
This paper describes our proposed algorithm for the statistical estimation of the errors of the dual energy method, as applied to an X-ray control system with sandwich detectors. Action of algorithm is demonstrated with a specific example. Recommendations are given for the further use of the algorithm, in particular, for the optimization of the structural elements of sandwich radiation detectors.
