Abstract

In the course of studying abroad, international students, as a rule, face not only difficulties in the educational process, but also in building practices of everyday life in a new country. The aim of the article is to analyze the peculiarities of building practices of cohabitation of foreign students on the RUDN University campus. The work material includes a description of the results of the practical research conducted in January – February 2023. The focus groups revealed such aspects of foreign students’ cohabitation as subjective assessments of living conditions in the dormitory and relations with neighbors, common rules and practices characteristic of these cohabitation conditions. In addition, recommendations were given regarding the preservation and maintenance of a friendly atmosphere between foreign students in building a shared living environment.
