Abstract
The article reveals the importance of crosscultural dialogue as an essential factor of consolidation of the Russian society and formation of the civil nation in Russia. It is shown that just through crosscultural dialogue, modern Russia can develop consistent national policy and properly secure its integrity and wholeness, fit harmoniously into the context of global worldview taking into account integration tendencies of the globalization process. Emphasizing the objective nature of planetary processes, the paper identifies the role and importance of crosscultural and cross-civilization dialogue in preserving ethno-cultural identity under the conditions of forming a global civilization community.
