Abstract
Modern information technologies are increasingly used in the automation of business processes in various fields of activity, such as: production, construction, analytics, sales and much more. Automation allows for a fairly short time, depending on the activity, to reorganize those elements of the processes that previously did not allow obtaining a quick and high-quality result. The article talks about such information technology as a digital twin. The advantages and disadvantages of such information technology, its use to improve the efficiency of business processes and the security of telecommunications companies in modern conditions are considered. A scenario for modeling, forecasting, prototyping and supporting the activities of a telecommunications company based on the use of a digital twin is proposed.
