Abstract

The assessment of complex influence of climatic, soil and agronomical factors on the formation of winter wheat yield in Central Chernozem region under modern conditions is carried out. It is found out that the territorial variation of arable land productivity is based on the interaction of the productive capacity of climate, soil quality and the level of field management, which determines 68 to 74 % of yield variance. For regional levels, the assessment of the resources of winter wheat yield is given using a minimum set of agroclimatic parameters, agrochemical soil properties. The hierarchy of significant factors is determined and a set of indicators for assessing the resource state of agricultural landscapes which are necessary for rational use of natural resources of the territory is determined.
