Abstract
: The current research sought to explore the role of benchmarking in the application of quality standards of education in the Directorate of Education of Nineveh (Department of Private and Government Education) as the field of research, as the theoretical aspect of the research was concerned with the reference comparison and quality standards of education as the variables of the research by identifying the opinions of researchers in this field, and the analytical research gave importance in identifying the influence relationships of these two variables in the field of research to answer On a number of questions to determine the general framework of the research problem, and among the most important of these questions is how can benchmarking contribute to the evaluation of quality standards of education? In line with the above, the scope of the research requires the formulation of a hypothetical model between the impact relationships between the benchmarking steps (planning, analysis, integration, implementation) and the quality of education (curriculum quality, infrastructure quality, educational and administrative frameworks) A questionnaire was distributed ( 150), and using the descriptive analytical approach and evaluation of the results, it was concluded The research has several conclusions, the most important of which is that there is a significant impact of benchmarking on the standards of quality of education in the surveyed organization. The research suggested the need for educational institutions to pay attention to the application of benchmarking as it is one of the important methods in continuous improvement and development, and the need to identify a leading educational organization to compare the organization's activity with the activities of leading organizations.
