Abstract

In the article, the authors emphasize that the modern state, and in particular such an element of its activity as public control, through which citizens, as well as their associations, public organizations can influence the activities of authorities, are following the path of development of the institution of civil society, the implementation of public control becomes especially relevant in the framework of countering corruption acts in internal affairs bodies. The authors note that the importance of public control in combating corruption in the internal affairs bodies is obvious, since only through the participation of the whole society in the process of preventing, preventing and suppressing corruption offenses, developing intolerance to corrupt behavior, can the desired results be achieved, which led them to consider the administrative and legal mechanism for combating corruption in the internal af-fairs bodies.
