Abstract
The concept of a new generation of geolocation services takes a step towards an effective search for missing animals. In modern society, when traditional methods of searching for missing animals have low efficiency, and the available online services do not function fully, there is an urgent need to develop fundamentally new solutions. The purpose of this article is to present the concept of a new generation of geolocation services that can radically change the approach to finding missing animals and significantly increase the chances of their successful return home. Unlike the existing disparate approaches, the new concept is based on the integrated application of modern technologies. The article discusses the main technologies: GPS tracking, LBS positioning, smart alerts, algorithms for building search routes; the functionality of new-generation geolocation services; describes the advantages and prospects of introducing a new concept; and also considers the development and implementation of new-generation geolocation services.
