Abstract

The aim of the study is to substantiate the necessity of project competence development among future physical rehabilitation specialists in the process of their training in a master’s degree program. The paper presents the results of a research on the professional training of rehabilitation specialists. The scientific novelty of the study lies in elaborating a model for pedagogical support of project competence development among future physical rehabilitation specialists. As a result of the study, the researchers defined the notion of the “project competence of a physical rehabilitation specialist” and identified three conditions under which the application of the model for pedagogical support of project competence development among physical rehabilitation specialists would be most effective: forming pedagogical process based on the principles of continuity and succession; organizing expert activity in solving project-situational tasks; encouraging students to search for alternative non-standard solutions.
