Abstract

This article is devoted to the consideration of the image of I. V. Stalin in the minds of respondents in the Shipunovsky district of the Altai Territory. The interview materials were collected during a scientific historical and ethnographic expedition of employees and students of the Institute of History, Social Communications and Law of the Altai State Pedagogical University. In his study, the author examines the influence of victory in the Great Patriotic War on the perception of the image of I. V. Stalin’s population. The author also focuses on the perception of the process of debunking the cult of personality and its results by respondents
