Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the singing method to improve the ability to memorize Arabic vocabulary in the fifth grade of elementary school Walisongo Kranji 2. This research is a field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study are fifth graders, and the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The collected data is then processed by data reduction, data display and conclusions. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it appears that to use an interesting way to learn the Arabic language, the teacher needs to choose the method that will be used in the learning process. In the primary school, Walisongo Kranji 2, in teaching the Arabic language using the singing method, where the teacher transfers the vocabulary using a song.
